A night at an Awana club balances connection,
learning the Gospel and having fun to help kids grow relationally and spiritually.

Large Group Time
As Bible lessons are being taught during large group time, a Christian worldview is being formed in the hearts and minds of clubbers. Through illustrations and examples, students learn how to apply biblical truths to their lives, helping them become more like Christ. Belonging is cultivated when lessons are taught in engaging ways, and children are invited to participate through questions, illustrations, and age-appropriate application.

Small Group Time
Small Group Time is a designated time when a leader disciples a specific group of children or youth. This segment typically consists of building relationships, discussing the Bible lesson, answering questions, praying for one another, and helping clubbers understand/complete their handbooks.

Group Activity Time
An exciting game/interactive time can build relational bridges with new attenders, encourage visitors to return, and lead consistent clubbers to invite their friends. This segment builds a sense of belonging and provides opportunities to teach biblical principles and encourage Christ-like character. As clubbers participate in activities, they can learn from one another and become more like Christ as they encourage each other during this time.
